use, store, protect, and handle your personally identifiable information and financial data in strict compliance
with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian laws regarding data protection.
Our Core Commitment: NGSA Trust will never sell, share, rent, trade, or lease donor or investor
personal information, contact lists, or financial data to any third-party commercial entities, marketing
networks, or external organizations under any circumstances.
1. Information We Collect
To process contributions, manage investments, issue tax exemption receipts, and maintain clear
communications, we may collect the following categories of information:
Personal Identity Data: Full name, date of birth, gender, and photograph (if volunteered for recognition).
Contact Information: Postal address, billing address, telephone number, and official email address.
Financial and Transactional Data: Banking details, transaction reference numbers, mode of payment
(Net Banking, UPI, Check, Credit/Debit card). Note: We do not directly store credit/debit card numbers or
CVVs on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information gathered from donors and investors is strictly restricted to the following internal objectives:
Processing and confirming monetary donations, grants, or investment contributions.
Issuing receipts,
Maintaining accurate historical financial ledgers for annual audits and statutory government reporting.
Providing transparent impact reports regarding infrastructure upgrades, student welfare programs, and
trust milestones.
Responding to your specific queries, feedback, or transactional verification requests.
3. Data Protection and Cybersecurity Measures
As the architects of our digital landscape, we implement industry-grade hardware and software security
protocols to defend your data against unauthorized access, alterations, disclosure, or destruction.
Encryption Protocols: All personal data transmitted during online donation procedures is encrypted
utilizing Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or Transport Layer Security (TLS) methodologies over HTTPS protocol.
Access Control: Internal access to donor and investor personal records is strictly limited on a "need-to-
know" basis. Only authorized administrative and financial personnel have access keys to these encrypted
databases.
Third-Party Gateway Integrity: For processing online payments, the Trust collaborates exclusively with
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliant payment processors. Financial
information is securely routed through their protected APIs.
4. Data Retention Framework
We retain donor and investor details only as long as strictly necessary to fulfill the legal, operational, and
auditing requirements of the Trust. Financial and identity documents required for Indian tax audits are
preserved for the minimum statutory period mandated by law (typically 8 financial years), after which the
digital records are securely purged and physical records are destroyed through certified shredding processes.
5. Statutory and Legal Disclosures
While we enforce absolute privacy, the Trust may share data with government regulatory agencies or law
enforcement bodies only under the following explicit legal circumstances:
To satisfy compliance requirements under the Income Tax Department, the Ministry of Home Affairs
(FCRA mandates), or CAG audits.
To satisfy any applicable law, judicial directive, court subpoena, or enforceable government mandate.
To investigate, prevent, or take corrective actions against suspected fraudulent transactions, financial
irregularities, or technical security threats to the platform.
6. Individual Privacy Rights (Access, Correction, & Consent)
Donors , investors and Trust members retain complete authority over their personal profiles stored within our systems. You hold
the following explicit rights:
Right to Inspect: Request a summary report of the specific personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectify: Update or modify any inaccuracies, outdated contact details, or incomplete PAN
records.
Right to Anonymity: Request that your donation or identity be classified as "Anonymous" in all public
trust publications, reports, or plaques.
7. Policy Alterations and Modifications
NGSA Trust reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to stay synchronized with
technological upgrades or evolving statutory laws. Any updates will be instantly active upon being posted on
our official website dashboard.
